Bring the whole family to this fun event! This informal hike is geared towards kids age 5-10, but all are welcome. We will meet up at the Hessel School House, and from there head off to the Derby Preserve. Once there we will go on a bug hunt, searching the meadow and then the woods and finaly the shoreline learning about bug habitats all along the way. Parents/Guardians must be present for entire event. Hike will be around 1 mile round trip with frequent stops to hunt for bugs. Bug spray and sunscreen recommended.
